The Glendalough White Route is a 9km looped trail that starts at the Upper Lake in Glendalough, taking you along the valley floor, through the Miner’s Village, up the top of the valley and across The Spinc boardwalk. Possibly one of Ireland’s most famous mountain valleys, Glendalough is an incredibly beautiful place to visit.

Starting at the DART (train) station in Howth village and following purple arrows this walk takes the path all along the cliffs to beyond Red Rock, passing the Baily Lighthouse, and then climbing to circle the Ben of Howth to return along the old tramline. The views of Lambay Island and Ireland's Eye as well as Dublin Bay are spectacular. The cliffs are great for birds and grey seals may also be seen.

Djouce loop – Wicklow Mountains National Park

Get to know this 12.7-km loop trail near Calary, County Wicklow. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 4 h 17 min to complete. This is a very popular area for hiking, running, and walking, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The best times to visit this trail are January through October. Dogs are welcome and may be off-leash in some areas.

This trail takes you to the summit of Djouce Mountain where you will have sweeping views of the surrounding countryside. There are various modifications available to make this route shorter or longer as desired. This route is rocky in places so be mindful of wet weather and wear proper shoes. Enjoy!

Great Sugar Loaf — County Wicklow

This trail is a wonderful combination of a mountain and woodland trail. It is possible to appreciate the mountain from the bottom or to climb a little higher for better views. This trail is especially beautiful in spring when the wildflowers are in bloom. There are some challenges along the way so this kind of activity is not suited for all levels of fitness. There are many picnic areas accessible. After rainfall, certain areas may become muddy or slippery, so appropriate footwear is advised. Be aware that parking may be a problem since it is a popular destination.
